In this three-evening class you will learn how to make basic repairs in fiberglass.
You will grind‚ sand‚ inspect and prep areas needing attention. You will lay up epoxy-impregnated fiberglass for strength. Then‚ if time allows‚ you’ll fair and paint the work. The work will be done on of our vintage ILCA (Lasers) that is need of repairs and if the work meets baseline standards‚ the boat will rejoin the fleet.
This seminar will meet in the MCSC Annex (the Youth Classroom.) Expect to get dusty and dirty. Shop glasses and gloves are supplied.
